The first summer we were here I remember hanging a valance in my bedroom window and hearing a distinct heavy breathing noise coming from the wall near the window. The other side was the outside. I looked out and there was nobody out there.
This sound occurred twice more that summer. A few years later my then 3 year old daughter on a few occasions said she didn't want to go to bed because of the man in her room. We just chalked it up to preschooler

imagintion or bad dreams.
So finally we asked her what he looked like she said he didn't have a face. And she said he went into our kitchen sometimes.

She is now almost 5 and doesn't remember or mention the man without a face.
Now I have a 2 year old who just yesterday was having a nonsensical conversation with somebody in my foyer. She will greet anyone she sees with an enthusiastic ''hi! '' so when she did this to nobody I could see and kept ''chatting'' I just watched and waited .
After about 2 minutes she came to me and pointed in that direction and said to me who's that? I replied ''mommy doesn't
