When I was younger, I had lived in St. Jacob. I went to the annual Homecoming Fair and had wandered over to the elementary school. I noticed a young girl who couldn't be more than 10 years old sitting next to the entrance, but the closer I got the girl seemed frightened. I was about to say hello when she dissappeared. I ran away and haven't seen her since.

Most of the folks who live here in Saint Jacob, Illinois are joyfully uninformed of the shocking riddles this city possesses; this neighborhood has a good percentage of phantoms. The spirits of this municipality don’t leave anyone unterrified. Some local residents argue these stories are not true, but creepy things certainly go on here in Saint Jacob during the dark hours.

A drifting ghost is rumored to have been seen on numerous instances late at night drifting down on Corlock Branch.
The phantom of a jet pilot was spotted in a deserted place in the vicinity of Saint Jacob. This ghost is very active in this neighborhood; there have been a small number of other stories of this particular ghost.
