Stillman Valley, Illinois Ghost Tales While doing Ouija board at weld park a 7 year old named Patrick talks to us. He says he died in may 1945 by a 24 year old named Collin.  As we were speaking to Patrick it got very cold and the spirit we believe is Collin came and told us to leave.  We moved the board and talk to Patrick again he said we weren't safe their.  He told us god was the only thing protecting us to get out. Things happen in this town that can't be given an explanation. Some folks who live here assert there are no ghosts, but everyone who dwells in Stillman Valley is not alive. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The ghost of a youthful Indian combatant has regularly been observed chucking bricks into the flowing water at Black Walnut Creek on a dark night. Based on what the local residents claim, this ghost is perhaps the undeparted       ghost of a local who used to have a home here in Stillman Valley. One thing's for sure, it unquestionably is a chilling spirit that you do not want to bump into after midnight. The phantom of a tough lumberjack clutching a large axe has been observed on frequent occasions in Beach Cemetery Prairie Nature Preserve late in the night seeking a hat.
