Taylor Springs, Illinois Ghost Tales | |
|
The Log Cabin Inn, a popular nightspot for many years in TS has had more than its fair share of ghosts over the years and I am sure they now find themselves confused at being in a senior center. The house behind the bar was the site of a horrible murder and as kids we used to hear footsteps coming up the steps in the middle of the night and then stopping at the top and never going anywhere. There was also a local legend that a man carrying a gunny sack walked the streets of Taylor Springs late at night hoping to catch small children and carry them away.
