One evening there were three of us in the apartment. My roommate myself and a guy I was seeing at the time. Our apartment was laid out like a ski lodge. There was a fireplace on the west wall with a sunken living room under it.
Then the actual ''living room''. And then the breakfast bar and kitchen area all in one long open room. My boyfriend and I were in my room watching TV and my roommate was standing at

the breakfast bar with his back towards the fireplace reading the newspaper.
We heard glass breaking and came running out of my room. The entryway

into our apartment was a set of French doors and we thought someone was breaking in. Much to our surprise when we came out there on the floor right behind my roommate laid the big heavy antique mirror that had hung on the mantle of the fireplace shattered !!! The glass was broken but the backing was in tact along with the heavy cable that held it on the wall.
There were two heavy duty bolts still in the brick over the fireplace! Soo... How did this mirror
