Yorkville, Illinois Ghost Tales I lived on Fox road in the 70's and saw a ghost in our house.He was dressed in buckskins and appeared to be from the 1800's. I always could feel a presence in our house.Noises were routine.Sightings were witnessed by family members. I could prompt responses from the ghost late at night by asking it to give me a sign. I never felt that I was in danger but I knew that soemthing or someone was always there. One thing is for sure, it's a bloodcurdling phantom that you shouldn't go searching for. The ghost of a tied up woman was spotted in a Yorkville highschool very late at night marching the halls. The viewer   ran away right after he distinguished the spirit. A female hauling her head under her arm was spotted climbing out of Big Slough covered in slime in the early morning hours. The spirit unmoved that there was someone else nearby. The ghost of a guy having half his head absent has often been noticed drinking blood from a beaker beneath a frightening tree in Aux Sable Grove. Anyhow, it is in all certainty a scary spirit that should be kept away from. The phantom of a young-looking female in a bloody wedding gown is repeatedly made out in a residence near Yorkville. The ghost of a twelve foot tall massive giant has supposedly been seen on one or two instances in Foli Park before sunrise smoking a pipe. Several folks declare this spirit is the spirit of a visitor that was killed while traveling through Yorkville many years ago. The ghost of a lady with half her head lost may be spotted frequently in a Yorkville area auto part store, strolling the aisles. A lady having a machete in her head has every so often been observed sitting at a coffee table in a Yorkville trailer trying to find another ghost. If you talk to the residents, this ghost is that of a local who lived here in Yorkville in the past.
