No matter what, it's a bloodcurdling spirit that is preferably not disrupted. A gentleman with a large hole through his torso was witnessed floating along Dutch Creek on a dark night. There have been further stories with reference to this phantom in the neighborhood. A local resident asserts that this ghost is   that of a person who settled here in Blue Rapids a long time ago. A lady's body having a rat's head showed up by Waterville Dam late in the night staring at the water. Many people in the neighborhood have had comparable events with the same ghost.
