By the looks of it Chetopa, Kansas appears like your normal settlement, but underneath the surface there are peculiar things going down. Things occur in this town that can't be given an explanation. Disbelievers don't believe in the local ghost testimonies, but everybody who lives in Chetopa is not alive.
These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.
A somewhat translucent gentleman clad as the skipper of a oil tanker may repeatedly be spotted in Elmore Park after midnight weeping. One of the residents firmly claims that this ghost is perhaps the tormented ghost of a local person who used to dwell here in Chetopa.
A big bloodcurdling ghost may be observed time and again admiring Big Hill in the early morning hours before sunrise. Some of the folks here declare this ghost is the undeceased spirit of a long forgotten Chetopa resident.
The ghost of a young-looking guy in a confederate uniform has now and then been seen staring in a plastic boat on Big Candy Lake. It has been

The ghost of a street bum is sometimes seen floating by on Center Creek around midnight. If you talk to the residents, this ghost loves frightening foolhardy people who have the nerve to disturb the tranquility in Chetopa.
The phantom of an aged hag has purportedly been perceived on one or two instances marching through a residence in the neighborhood of Chetopa.
