Anyway, I was ten when we moved there and had an experience the first time when I stayed home alone. I was sick, and my mom felt that I was old enough to be home alone, so everyone went to school or work. It was in broad daylight maybe around 11 a. M. , and I was sitting in the couch reading a book and cuddling with my dog. Suddenly it sounded like someone was running up the stairs, but no one was there. I had a clear view of the stairs case.

dog also freaked out and got in front of me to protect me and was growling at the stairs. Whatever it was weren't back down and continued storming up

and down the stairs for what seemed like ages. I couldn't say how long it actually was. I was too terrified to get up for quite a while. Finally I got up and ran to the kitchen where our landline was with my dog at my heels, and I called my grandma. She lived only a block away and walked over to stay with me until my parents got home. It stopped shortly before she got there.
That was the only time that I heard walking/running in the house that
