Next year will be a great year to start ghost hunting again. Once I get my wrist recorder, it is on.

It has taken me forever to actually type this story down, for it has happened about one and a half years or so ago. The date now is October 17th, 2016, and this happened on December 9th, 2015. My boyfriend and I were driving down 400 Highway heading back to Leon, KS at around 1:45 to 2 in the morning coming back from a Pink Floyd Light show in Wichita. We took the exit on the right to get on Haverhill just to take a slower route home. We turned on 120th off of Haverhill.

I want to start off by saying how cold it was. It was like 40 degrees outside, and it was overall just a weird situation. As we were driving down 120th, Emmett said ''did you see those cut out people?'' You know, like those wood cut out people you see outside of saloons or something like that. I told him no. He turned around, so I could see them. Well, this is the weirdest thing I have ever had to describe. There were three people, standing against the fence with big black coats. There was a man on the right side (the tallest apparition,) a woman on the right, and a child in the middle. They were literally just standing along the fence, stiff as a board each time we drove by freaking out.

We turned around at least four or five times because we could not believe our eyes. Why would a child be out in the middle of nowhere, 2:00 am while it was 40 degrees out, (it was also a Wednesday night, a school night) just standing there on our side of the fence. Now with all of that being said, we could tell that they were a man, a woman, and a child. However, there were literally no other features we could make out. When you look at someone you see eyes, and you can see a nose feature, right? We could not see anything of the sort each time we drove by. They did not move a muscle. They were just there. The last time we drove by they were simply gone.

They weren't climbing the fence. They weren't walking anywhere. There was no time for them to do anything without us seeing it. There is so much more expression to this story if I was to explain in person. If you ever take the time to drive down Haverhill to 120th, the ''people' were spotted on the left side of the road in a blank pasture with nothing surrounding it. It has been one of the strangest things I have ever seen.

It started up again a year or two ago while I was allowed to do my own private ghosthunt at the Hot Rod and the basement of the hotel next to the Hot Rod. The Hot Rod is where I saw what I believe to be the apparition of the man who used to play the movies. Now we headed over to the hotel basement with my always trusty recorder where I picked up quite a number of spirits who all gave their names. One other place I forgot to mention would be the bandshell by the pool. I went there with my recorder and picked up old music and names galore.
