My house on N. Main has had some pretty crazy stuff happen in it. I moved in a little less than two years ago with my mom. About a month after moving in I started getting very uncomfortable in the basement. I felt like someone was always watching me as I was doing laundry or walking up the stairs. This continued to happen more and more often. My mom said she had been feeling the same way when she was downstairs. One night my mom and I were in her room together when we heard a noise of something falling in the living room. We walked out and saw my backpack (which was heavy with school books and had been in the center of the table, away from any edges) lying in the middle of the floor. There was no way it could've fallen, and my mom and I were the only ones in the house.
Not long after that, I was sleeping in the basement alone, and I heard someone walking down the stairs. I fully expected to see my mom when I sat up. I heard the footsteps reach the bottom, and no one was there. I felt as if I couldn't breathe because I was so terrified. I sprinted upstairs crying. My mom and I were both scared at that point. A small time after that happened, my mom told me that she woke up one night to someone standing over her. It was a solid black person standing above her. The crazy thing was I could've sworn that I've seen something like that before. My room is directly across the hall from hers, and once I saw something dark staring down at her before. It was scary to hear that we were seeing the same thing. My mom's friend, who is sensitive to the paranormal, said that she felt very uncomfortable in the basement. It confirmed that we weren't completely insane. The activity has slowed, but I'm still scared to go to the basement alone.

Comment by Gina: My family is looking to move to Kingman, KS. We are very in tuned to the paranormal and are wanting to know whether or not the address on this house would be 120x N. Main Street. We are currently looking at this home for rent. We currently live three and half hours away from here and want to make sure that this isn't the same house before we make the drive. Any information you have on this address would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

At home on North Cedar Street a friend of mine and her family had started to move in. Once a lot of stuff had been moved in we decided that all the children, 2 boys and 7 girls were going to spend the night there. Once we were there, and it had started to get dark around 8:30 to 9:00. Three of the girls had been upstairs messing around and a candle had fallen off the window above the bedroom door. Then one of the girls picked it up and placed it upon the dresser. The three girls were then called downstairs. They were later excused to go back upstairs after being told not to fight with the younger girls.
Upon arriving at the door one of the girls started to open it, and the candle flew from the dresser and hit one of the girls. After this happened we were trying to unlock the chain on the front door, but it had mysteriously shortened and wouldn't open. We then attempted to open the back door, but of course our luck the door handle brokes. This isn't the first creepy thing that has happened and probably won't be the last.
