The building/house/shop was built in the late 1800's or early 1900's as a duplex. One of the first residents was the first Dr. In Lenexa and his wife. The Dr. Had his office downstairs in the basement including a surgery area. In the mid to late 1930's through the 1980's the building was divided up     into several apartments. It then became a single family dwelling and went commercial in the 1990's. Many people have traveled through the building and the land. The first day I got the keys my daughter and I smudged the entire 3 floors of the building... Just because it seemed like the thing to do. The activity began that night with items being moved around, hearing someone walking around upstairs and snippets of conversation. I dismissed it all and did for a couple of months.
