The spirit of a security guard with a bullet hole in his forehead is every now and then distinguished gazing at folks in a Moundridge apartment through a peephole. Lots of local residents argue this phantom is probably the struggling phantom of a local who used to reside here in Moundridge.

The ghost of an old gentleman with a long white mustache is rumored to have been spotted on one or two occasions outside the entrance to Cheney State Park searching for a bag.
