Two years ago on the 4th of July, my wife and I were bringing in one of our trucks from the field, when we saw a large object in the lane ahead. As it was nearly dark, we just assumed it was a fallen tree limb. But as we got closer, it rose up on two feet - looking like a large bear, at least 12 to 14 feet tall. My wife screamed as I stopped the truck and turned around in the adjoining field. We went back the next morning,

but there was no sign of anything.Well, the story gets better! This spring, my oldest son was traveling the same lane, as he was going out

to get a couple of round bales for our cows. On his way home, the creature stepped into the middle of the lane, holding its front legs high in the air. He sounded his horn, and it waddled off into the hedge row. He thinks it had to be a bear, but it just doesn't seem likely that one would be able to survive around here. (We farm and raise cattle about 4 miles southwest of Narka.) Has anyone else seen anything like this in the area? .
