Salina, Kansas Ghost Tales | |

I have lived in Salina since 1999 and have read many stories about Salina's ''hauntings''. Well me being a major ghost story lover I decided to check out some of these stories. One of which was the haunting of Coronado Hights just outside of Salina. Unfortunaletly the scariest thing about Coronado Heights is the drive up and down that hill. When arriving to the ''haunted'' location the only thing I found was a bunch of drunk bikers. Also I am into fishing, so one night I decided to go to Lakewood over night to fish. Nothing out of the normal happened. Im not saying these locations are not haunted, just saying that i have never encountered anything to make me think otherwise. Alothough after seeing multiple people on this site refer to Indian Rock park and their experiences, I think I just might have to look more into that one. If I do happen to find anything I will post about it on this site for others.

George our house ghost: One of the things in my house that you'll notice is a piece of wood on the wall with a face carved into it, well there's a spirit in the piece of wood and his name is George we don't know a lot about him, and I've had a couple of experiences that I'd like to share with you. My first experience with George was when I was playing my game boy in my bed after dark. Let me just point out that it was an old game boy that didn't have the background light to play in the dark so I was using the street light that shown through my window, well it wasn't vary bright so I was having a hard time seeing the game, finally I got frustrated and said out loud ''I wish I had more light.'' and then right after I said that my bedroom light turned on though I knew what happened I wrought it off as nothing and moved on. The second experience is what tolled me that George was real. It was during the school year and my parents took me out of school for a couple of weeks to go to Las Vegas with them the school was ok with it as

long as I took a packet of work pages with me, after the trip I was back home still finishing the packet I was having trouble with the last couple of pages and I decided to put it up for the night and go to bed but before that I set the paper below the wooden face and set the pencil on top of the papers and jokingly said ''How about some help buddy.''

then I took a shower and went to bed. The next morning I woke up and went to the couch to do my work I took the papers and opened them to the page I was on but there was an extra paper in the packet it was laying face down when I flipped it over there where the answers to the rest of the packet they where written in a vary fancy cursive and I knew that my brother nor my parents could wright like that. I looked up and thanked George for his help, and that was the last time I've experienced anything from him but I know he's still around. Submitted by Kaleb Category: home
I have been conducting EVP investigations along the river in Oakdale park and have come up with evp's being recorded on my digital recorder. Just pick a spot and start asking questions. I have been doing that and found several spots where I have picked up voices. At Thomas Park. I actually heard with my ears, a spirit speaking to me. He said, ''Follow me.'' I was in the park with two others and got seperated from

them. I headed off in the wrong direction, obviously, because first my radio went dead and seconds later, I hear the voice say ''follow me.'' All I could hear was footsteps leading me to my lost party. When I was at the end of the trail, my radio suddenly came back on and the footsteps were gone. I took a few more steps and when I cleared the trees, there sitting on the ridge was my two missing mates. . Submitted by anonymous Categories: evp, park, footsteps, sounds
