The ghost of an elderly gentleman   with a huge gray beard was witnessed taking pleasure in the scenery at Lyndon City Dam at the stroke of midnight. When the watcher emerged the phantom fled. A woman with an axe sticking out of her head has frequently been spotted staggering through a building near Vassar.
