Wellsville, Kansas Ghost Tales I know as a young child living in Wellsville, My parents bought a new house and lived there all our school days and it was haunted. It was worse after me and my sister turned teenagers. You would hear then walking up and down the stairs or the hallway at night when you were trying to sleep. When you saw them they looked so real I had even talked to one thinking it was my dad. One ghost was a man and the other was a women all dressed in white and as thin as a skeleton. Growing up in a haunted house has made me and my sister very sensitive to our surroundings and We know we see alot of ghostly things       in wellsville. Submitted by Kelley In the day the folks who live here in Wellsville, Kansas go about their lives precisely identical to anywhere else, but there are extraordinary things   going down in this city during the moonlight hours. Ghosts are so regular around here; loads of residents don’t even fret about it any longer. Not everybody believes in the accounts the residents tell, but there beyond doubt are chilling things taking place here in Wellsville in the moonlight hours. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. An incredibly creepy ghost emerged observing the view from the pinnacle of Fowler Hill late in the night. The spirit was swallowed by the thin air after being perceived. The phantom of an aged female hauling a pistol was spotted at Baldwin City Dam very late at night taking in the surroundings. Freaked out by the bystanders the spirit faded away into the shadows. In any case, this is an unsympathetic ghost that is preferably not interrupted.
