A feminine body has regularly been witnessed staggering through a Cabool vicinity   graveyard. One of the local residents firmly claims that this ghost is that of a local resident who existed here in Cabool long ago. The ghost of a woman having a name carved into her leg is regularly noticed drifting down Bear Creek at the stroke of midnight. Regardless of what people articulate, it's a creepy phantom that you wouldn't want to bump into before sunrise. A woman with worms crawling out of her nostrils can often be made out in Cabool State Wildlife Management Area after midnight concealing a body by a large boulder. The ghost of a woman with a switchblade in her back has every so often been spotted enjoying the vista at Austin Community Lake Dam in the early morning hours before sunrise. A female having the head of a demon is occasionally perceived gazing angrily at the observer up on the summit of Lead Hill. One thing's for sure, it unquestionably is a bloodcurdling spirit that any sound person would not want to come across. The ghost of a man with half his head not there is known to have been seen on one or two occasions scrutinizing Big Gulch in detail before dawn. Whichever way, this ghost certainly is creepy; one that should be shunned.
