Elkland, Missouri Ghost Tales There is a family cemetery that was built around 1850 (9 generations buried there), during a memorial day weekend taking pictures inside the church showing the beauty of its antique and to where many of my ancestors have been before me. It was at the time empty later that day. I was looking at the photo's taken and when standing at the entrance looking inward at the preachers pulpit as well as at the seat in front of the piano and inseveral within each pew there are several!! orbs in alignment (something dust particles are not able to do) it looks like a ghostly congregation listening to the preacher as well as someone ready to play religious hymns on the piano...I also carried a digital recorder asking questions out-loud while only I was in building my brother did come in and started teasing me if I found any ghost.........everything was quiet with the recorder until the part when my brother came in and it sounds like an electrical interference and a voice underneath the noise asking if I can hear them.........I would like to think it maybe       my parents or it may be another relative from further in the past because I made a pledge as a child that I would not abandon the oldways of celebrating decoration day where you go to place flowers on all graves.....as a child we would simply place flowers for the deceased person with flowers they had loved or grown in their own yard and each year   we have a picnic at the church with other family members even some that have moved abroad......and this is actually the 2nd cemetery belonging to the church; an older one is a couple of miles away where the newer 1850 one sets, I will be adding the picture to this site to let others come to their own conclusion and no paint shop was used and I would love to find a TRUE and strong psychic come with me as an impartial judge to my findings.
