Eugene, Missouri Ghost Tales Two of my grandchildren have seen a man sitting by the edge of the water crying at Lake Carmel. Each one saw the same thing when they were 2 years old. The undeparted are crawling over this settlement as the local residents will tell you about. Some local residents assert there are no phantoms, but the phantoms of Eugene are out tonight seeking somebody to scare. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. A military outfit walking around lacking a body in it was seen striding along a wild highway outside Eugene. When the onlooker came into sight the ghost fled. The ghost of a civil war warrior emerged becoming visible in a restroom mirror. The appearance of the watcher       startled the ghost who then disappeared. The ghost of a badly burned lady was perceived fishing from the water's edge of Lake Carmel on a dark night. The ghost talked about revenging a murder. Regardless of what people express, it's a bloodcurdling phantom that any sound person wouldn't wish to encounter. The ghost of an engine driver   materialized by Brush Creek piling bricks. The observer got freaked out and ran away. One thing's for certain, it's sure a chilling ghost that should be stayed away from.
