Night time is living dead time in this town. Not everyone trusts in the reports the folks who live here tell, but the things that happen here in Grant City in the moonlight hours will frighten you. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The       phantom of a young-looking female having on a blood-splattered dress showed up at Croce Lake Dam before dawn flinging chunks of concrete. Being frightened by the witnesses the ghost receded into the darkness. A   headless lady was seen observing the vista from the pinnacle of Mount Waller very late at night. When spotted the ghost came close to the watcher who then fled. One of the residents steadfastly declares that this ghost is most likely the undeparted ghost of a local resident who used to live here in Grant City. The ghost of a teen girl appeared by Fletchall Creek slurping blood from a cup. There are other stories concerning this ghost in the vicinity. Whichever way, this ghost indisputably is frightening; one that is preferably not disrupted. A person with a skeleton face sporting shadowy robes was witnessed in the backseat of a Toyota by the driver spotting the spirit in her rear view mirror at night. Other sightings of this ghost have been reported. A wandering phantom was seen gardening in the yard of a home in Grant City. This ghost is enormously active in this vicinity; there have been a few additional accounts of this specific ghost. Some of the folks here argue this ghost is the tormented spirit of an old Grant City local.
