Back in high school (16yrs ago) I knew a few people that lived on Medford. I never got out of them what would actually go in their houses, but I definitely believed they were hearing and seeing things. I live off of Delores, and my neighbor and I were talking just last night about seeing and hearing kids run around when there is nothing. She lives a few streets away, but after finishing each other's descriptions of ''him'' we are more than positive we are seeing the same little boy. My daughter, now seven, used to hold conversations in the middle of the night with a boy she called ''Ferb,'' and my friend told me that her two-year-old now does the same exact thing.

: You miss heard our friends' experience with Ferb. I witnessed a few things while staying the winter with her. Ferb has thing for the blue ball that he rolls across the floor. I watched a picture of one of her kids that hung on the microwave stand by a string lift up on tossed about two feet away.
Ferb also likes a certain marble. He rolls it across the counter. I put it away but a few hours later I had to use the potty and that freaking marble rolled out from under the washer and stopped at my feet.
His favorite thing to do oddly enough, is to hide the pair of good tweezers lol. We would search and search and we found them mostly hidden in little man's room. He does not seem to be a threat and I think he is fun.
To anyone who thinks they are visiting the House family home in House Springs or Byrnesmill think again. Check your Missouri history records. There was in fact a House family and there definitely was a massacre at their Homestead by Native Americans and yes there may very well be unsettled spirits of the family lingering around the area of the Homestead yet today.
But the House family home was torn down 20+ years ago to make way for the plaza which is now home to the Hardee's KFC and that fish restaurant. The small pond where the park bench now sits is a result of the natural spring which the house family used for their daily water supply, thus the name ''House's springs''.
If you're going to get a visit from one of their spirits it would be at this location not a now standing house. How do I know this? Simple I remember the house before it was demolished and I got an A in Missouri history.
