Houston, Missouri Ghost Tales


While the sun shines Houston, Missouri is a typical American town, but this town has scary enigmas veiled in the night. Ghosts are so regular here; many residents don’t even worry about it any longer. Some residents allege there are no ghosts, but everyone who inhabits in Houston is not alive.

These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.

The spirit of a silver-miner can be distinguished frequently walking a Sheepdog in the early morning hours on a shadowy Houston road. Several of the folks who live here allege this phantom gets pleasure from startling folks who are courageous enough to disrupt the peace in Houston.

The ghost of a gentleman clothed as a gas station attendant has every now and then been noticed scaring folks at Hutcheson Lake Dam at midnight.

A female with a half translucent body is every so often made out screaming names in Piney River Narrows State Natural Area very late at night.

    may every now and then be noticed by Bell Bluff appearing menacing.

The ghost of an old guy with a large gray mustache has regularly been perceived beside Dripping Springs late at night looking irritably at the viewer. It's been alleged that this individual ghost may be the spirit of a resident who passed away here in Houston before the present.

A
  lady with a sword sticking out of her head is repeatedly distinguished yelling at the viewer to beat it mid stream in Bender Creek. If you listen to the local residents, this ghost is perhaps the stressed ghost of a person who used to live here in Houston.

A knight's armor from the middle ages devoid of a person inside has supposedly been witnessed on a small number of instances going mad in Bryant Hollow in the early morning hours.
