On the face of it Iberia, Missouri seems like your customary municipality, but when the spooky shadows of the nighttime move in the living dead march in. Things go down in this town that can't be given an explanation. People who have never stayed for a few days in this municipality will surely tell you it's all myths, but the ghosts of Iberia are out tonight seeking somebody to scare.
These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.
A lady ablaze, carrying a petroleum bottle can be witnessed very frequently at Groff Lower Dam very late at night burrowing a hole.
The spirit of a farmer sporting a straw hat has once in a while been perceived in Madden Ford Access State Wildlife Area on a dark night stacking bricks. Some of the folks who live here assert this ghost is the struggling soul of an old Iberia local.
The ghost of a young-looking air force pilot is once in a while noticed at Atwell Creek at midnight tossing rocks into the current. Anyhow, it's a frightening ghost that any

A female with a blue face can now and then be perceived on the top of House Mounds very late at night surveying the view.

A man's body having the head of a bear was made out guzzling paint in Barnes Hollow on a dark night. The ghost greeted the witness. No matter what, this spirit sure is chilling; one that you do not want to come across in the early morning hours before sunrise.
A womanly figure showed up in an Iberia highschool late in the night marching the corridors. When the ghost was witnessed it vanished into the thin air. If you listen to the people who live here, this ghost is that of a local who had a house here in Iberia a long time ago.
