A guy with a sizeable hole through his chest has often been spotted trying to find a map beside a parked Honda in a Joplin parking lot in the early morning hours before sunrise. In any event, it's undoubtedly a frightening ghost that you shouldn't go searching for. A woman's body with a goat's head is often distinguished in Cunningham Park around midnight calling out names. Many residents claim this spirit is almost certainly the struggling spirit of a local resident who used to have a house here in Joplin. A partially decomposed human corpse has been said to       have been made out on a few instances appearing terrifying at night by a mailbox in Joplin. The ghost of a planter sporting a worn hat can often be noticed walking through a house in Joplin. A young girl sporting a bloody wedding gown has now and then been perceived shouting at the watcher to stay away at Grand Falls Dam after midnight. A   man with a spear in his head is sometimes noticed chucking chunks of concrete next to the water's edge at Joplin Water Supply Lake. Folks who have observed this phantom say this phantom is the struggling spirit of a long dead Joplin resident. A guy's body having the head of a dog has allegedly been made out on a few instances by Beef Branch mounding boulders. A womanly form was observed studying Chitwood Hollow in detail at midnight. Alarmed by the witnesses the ghost fled into the dark. Folks say that this ghost is the ghost of a visitor that was murdered while passing through Joplin some decades ago. The ghost of a woman with words carved into her nose showed up being carried by a llama by the side of a highway next to Joplin. This precise spirit has been spotted very often in this spot. The ghost of a female with a knife in her chest was made out in a phone booth in Joplin using the telephone. Further reports of this ghost have been reported. One of the people who live here determinedly declares that this phantom is that of a local person who resided here in Joplin before the present.
