Most of the residents in Nixa, Missouri are happily unaware of the terrible enigmas this municipality holds; stressed spirits of days gone by in this municipality don't appear to wish to go away. There have been scores of happenings with individuals from another world. Not everybody believes in the testimonies the locals tell, but anyone who has stayed for the night in Nixa, Missouri knows better.

    are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.

The ghost of a man grasping a bloody knife can be distinguished repeatedly flying across Avin Sink very late at night.

The
  ghost of a civil war combatant has occasionally been perceived by Farmer Branch shining a kerosene lamp. One thing is for guaranteed, this ghost indisputably is menacing; one that any sane person wouldn't wish to meet.

The spirit of an awfully charred lady is now and then distinguished at Lake Springfield Dam late in the night reasoning. A local declares that this phantom may be the spirit of a person who lived here who passed on here in Nixa some time ago.

The ghost of a young-looking cowboy may from time to time be witnessed devouring a piece of bread near the entrance to Table Rock State Park.
