Polk, Missouri Ghost Tales


Polk, Missouri is an apparently common place providing the sun is in the sky, but when the gloomy shadows of the nighttime enter the living dead march in. Objects shift about, words out of nowhere. Not everyone has faith in the accounts the locals tell, but frightening things certainly happen here in Polk at night.

    are courageous enough to upset the tranquility in Polk. In any case, this is an unlikable ghost that should be kept away from.

A female's body with an animal's head was seen by Negro Bend Bluff
  reflecting. The phantom nodded to the viewer.

A man having the head of a devil came into sight by Big Hollow Branch terrifying folks. When the ghost was distinguished it vanished into the night.

A lady alight, hauling a fuel container was distinguished in Bolivar Public Use Area very late at night pushing orbs about. The ghost was consumed by the night after being noticed. No matter what people articulate, it's a creepy phantom that is better not interrupted.

The phantom of a young-looking air force pilot emerged after midnight checking out Horn Hollow in detail. Frightened by the witnesses the ghost departed into the darkness.
