Raymore, Missouri Ghost Tales I was outside in my backyard with my best friend last night around 2.a.m and we heard something we hid in my deck and were looking through the deck and we say this creepy man like talking or something then like I accidentally hit something, is I was trying to run inside my house but then out of no where it disappeared. Spirits are so usual here; a lot of folks who live here don’t even think about it any longer. Some folks who live here claim these tales are not true, but with so many ghosts in Raymore you have a pretty fine chance of setting eyes on one if you stay for a few days here. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The phantom of an old sorceress has occasionally been noticed trying to find a hat down by the waterfront at New Longview Lake. One thing is for sure, this ghost sure       is terrifying; one that is preferably not upset. A guy with a large hole through his upper body is sometimes noticed by Alexander Creek having a carrot. A gentleman with the head of a leprechaun has purportedly been made out on several occasions drinking milk in Longview Lake County Park in the early morning hours. If you talk to the   locals, this ghost is the struggling spirit of an old Raymore local resident. A semi rotten human body has repeatedly been noticed hanging out in a vacant dwelling in Raymore. The ghost of a farmer in a hat is often made out riding on a bicycle on a gloomy highway near Raymore. Whichever way, this is a hostile ghost that you do not want to bump into around midnight. A young girl having on a blood-splattered wedding gown has been noticed on one or two instances reading a book up on Bowler Hill. A woman with a bottle-green face can repeatedly be observed in a mobile home in Raymore. In any event, it's a menacing spirit that you shouldn't go trying to locate. The ghost of a mailman may be noticed frequently looking at the water by Allendale Dam very late at night. A gentleman's body with the head of a lizard is once in a while observed in a Raymore apartment. The ghost of a guy grasping a sword is rumored to have been noticed on a few instances walking in the middle of a secluded highway next to Raymore.
