The house on second Street is an antebellum structure known as the tumy-angell-Williams house. It is a fine building; however I have found no mention of the structure being the oldest in Rocheport. It would have to have been built before or around 1820.|
As far as the haunting others have experienced unusual phenomena in the house. With a history extending back into the 19th century certainly others could have had experiences. Best of luck.

I moved into that house on 2nd Street after the renovation and I have no idea what you are talking about. As a proud Rocheport resident I have never seen anything ''spooky'' here... Just a nice glimpse into well preserved Missouri past and a very peaceful place to live.
As for the history of the building... It''s the oldest standing building in town. Come take a gander!.
