The house on second Street is an antebellum structure known as the tumy-angell-Williams house. It is a fine building; however I have found no mention of the structure being the oldest in Rocheport. It would have to have been built before or around 1820. As far as the haunting others have experienced unusual phenomena in the house. With a history extending back into the 19th century certainly others could have had experiences. Best of luck. Submitted

I moved into that house on 2nd Street after the renovation and I have no idea what you are talking about. As a proud Rocheport resident I have never seen anything ''spooky'' here... Just a nice glimpse into well preserved Missouri past and a very peaceful place to live. As for the history of the building... It''s the oldest standing building in town. Come take a gander!.
