Anyways they had this toy poodle named Kippie. Kippie lived to be nearly 20 years old. Sadly she developed cancer and died. A week after she passed my grandmother was sitting in their kitchen and she saw what she described as sort of a shadow silhouette of Kippie running down their hallway just like she used to. The interesting thing was     she heard the skittering of her toenails also. Grandma said she could just feel her presence when she would walk that hallway. Grandma called that shadow Kippie's shade. I always thought that hallway smelled suspiciously like wet dog. Kippies shade might still be there to this day.
