A woman alight, holding a kerosene bottle may repeatedly be noticed at C and S Lake Dam on a dark night taking pleasure in the surroundings. One thing is for guaranteed, this is an unfriendly ghost that any rational person would not want to encounter.

The ghost of a planter dressed in
a straw hat can be noticed over and over again at midnight drifting down on East Cow Creek. Loads of folks who live here claim this ghost gets pleasure from terrifying people who come trying to locate ghosts in Slater. Anyway, it's a creepy ghost that you shouldn't go seeking.

A young girl sporting a bloody prom dress has every so often been observed picking flowers in the garden of a home in Slater.
