Warrenton, Missouri Ghost Tales Once leaving at 0530 in the morning to open my restaurant named MJ Cafe' the old Rubys Cafe in Warrenton Missouri, I was leaving Wright City on the outer Road heading towards Warrenton. On my way from Wright City I was following an old what seemed to be war jeep with no license plates. Although I considered passing it I stayed behind for seven miles I followed not being in a hurry but curious why it was travelling so slow. I then came to what is now the four way light and began to turn left when I looked over to my right and a young boy about 7 or 8 was driving looking straight ahead with old bottle cap glasses and could barely reach the peddle, next to him sat an old woman of 90 or so with long white hair and a shawl wrapped around her, they both looked frozen and stared straight ahead. I began to turn left when the light changed and hoped the young boy could continue to drive without an incident and within a few seconds of the light changing I looked back over before I was even thru the light and they were gone. I followed a young boy and       old woman for 7 miles not knowing they were ghosts. I was scared and raced to my Cafe and ran in and opened the door and locked it behind me and called my Mother crying that I had scene 2 ghosts. This is a true story. (MJ) Vance. The ghost of an elderly Indian chief has supposedly been perceived on many instances demolishing an object up on the peak of Roundabout Hill. Anyhow, this ghost indisputably is bloodcurdling; one that you wouldn't want to encounter around midnight. The ghost of an old cleaning lady may regularly be noticed fly fishing from the water's edge of Birkemeier Lake very late at night.
