Wright City, Missouri Ghost Tales I had lived in a cabin and I had been sleeping in my room and I had woken up for some reason and right ubove me floating in circles was a little girl who had looked like blue bonnet off of the butter bowl. when she relized I was awake she quikley went to my closet and disappeared. My aunt later lived there and said tht she heard her singing on the porch.She also said that there was a man and that the girl seemed scared of the man because she felt her lied next to her at night. The phantoms of this municipality don’t leave anyone unstartled. Not everybody has faith in the accounts the residents tell, but Wright City is filled with stressed spirits just waiting to frighten you. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The ghost of a gentleman with half his head missing may from time to time be witnessed striding through       a building in Wright City. The ghost of a young lady dressed in a blood-splattered dress was made out checking out Skunk Hollow in detail in the early morning hours. When the watcher showed up the ghost escaped. A decapitated woman emerged fishing from the water's edge of Boone Trail Farm Lake at midnight. The arrival of the eye witness   alarmed the ghost who then faded away. The ghost of a teenage girl was observed mid stream in Cave Creek verbalizing into the night. The witness got freaked out and fled. No matter what people say, this is an antagonistic ghost that any normal person wouldn't wish to bump into. A figure with a skeleton face sporting dark robes came into sight taking in the panorama at Becker Lake Dam late in the night. The ghost didn't seem to be bothered by the witnesses. A woman having a sword in her head was witnessed under a frightening big tree in Reifsnider State Forest clutching a human cranium. The ghost waved to the observer. Lots of local residents argue this ghost is possibly the struggling ghost of a local who used to reside here in Wright City. The ghost of a young-looking Indian fighter was spotted swallowing water from Hedemen Springs in the early morning hours. When the ghost was witnessed it vanished into the thin air. Whichever way, it is in all certainty a frightening ghost that should be kept away from. The spirit of a muscular lumberjack holding a large axe has regularly been seen mounted on a donkey alongside a highway near Wright City. Locals here who have made out this phantom claim this phantom is the stressed soul of a long forgotten Wright City local resident.
