There have been a lot of experiences with entities from another realm. Several people who live here assert there are no ghosts, but not all the locals of Arapahoe are really alive. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The spirit of a young-looking man dressed in a confederate uniform may every now and then be witnessed in the rear seat of a car by the driver witnessing the phantom in his rear view mirror after midnight. The spirit of a hobo was seen at midnight drifting down Big Antelope Creek. This phantom is enormously active in this area; there have been numerous other accounts of this exact phantom. No matter what, this is a nasty ghost that       you shouldn't go searching for. The ghost of a youthful woman soaked in blood showed up trying to verbalize something at Broeker Dam very late at night. This is one of those ghosts that is seen time and again around here. A guy with a large hole through his torso was made out by a guy hiking along a trail next to Arapahoe.
