Auburn, Nebraska Ghost Tales Avenue Apartments. Courthouse Avenue. Used to be an old hospital. 2 encounters. One, on the backside of the apartment building. A child has been seen and heard saying MOTHER!!''. Residents have left abrubtly from that apartment several times. My old apartment. 3rd floor. Bed shaking, and dishes clanging around in the middle of the night. Yet, 2 years later when I moved out, another resident claims she and her husband witnessed the same thing, without me even mentioning the story. I left the restaraunt in tears and very terrified. We believe that the original residents of that old hospital refuse to leave. Some of the dead don't want to pass on in this town. Several people who live here allege there are no ghosts, but Auburn is packed with undead spirits just waiting to terrify you. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. A       sizeable terrifying ghost was witnessed grasping a human headbone by a streetlamp in Auburn. The ghost didn't appear to be worried by the bystanders. Regardless of what, it's a scary ghost that you don't want to encounter in the early morning hours before sunrise. The ghost of a shackled up guy showed up in Half-Breed Tract Historical Marker   on a dark night concealing a dead body by a big boulder. When the spirit was observed it disappeared into the air. One thing's for guaranteed, it is certainly a scary ghost that you shouldn't go seeking. The ghost of a bum was perceived drifting down Codington Creek late at night. The spirit was swallowed by the air after being witnessed. Lots of residents argue this ghost gets pleasure from scaring unwise people who have the guts to disrupt the quiet in Auburn.
