There were only a few houses. It was white. It was the only one on that side of the road at the time west of the cross road on the south side of the road. The road that runs parallel with the tracks there is just north of the post office, and that wasn't much of a post office. Lol. I saved that book from that house. It has writing in it from a local. A girl I think. An advanced physiology book scribbled in the hand of her lamenting and scrutinizing,

and I suppose enjoying life even at the time. I am sure paper was at a minimum and feelings were expressed as such wherever they could be secretly. School

P. S. I was a kid at the time and the home was abandoned and ransacked, and the book was a keepsake of the adventure, but few things of want remained in truth. There was no offense or misappropriation intended. I thought for archival reasons you might like it if anyone remembers the burning? Does Adraia Jones ring a bell?.
