By daylight Cook, Nebraska is a typical US town, but this town has frightening secrets hidden in the night. The undead are here in this municipality as the folks who live here will tell you about. Not everybody trusts in the testimonies the folks who live here tell, but anyone who has spent a night in Cook, Nebraska knows better.

The ghost of a gentleman with names etched into his leg has repeatedly been distinguished at Ayres Branch in the early morning hours before sunrise flinging pebbles into the stream.

The
  ghost of a seriously mangled huntsman hauling a dead bear is regularly seen enjoying the vista at Janssen Dam late in the night. A local person alleges that this ghost is the ghost of a traveler that was killed while passing through Cook many years ago. Anyway, it's undoubtedly a creepy ghost that you don't want to bump into on a dark night.

A woman devoid of a head has allegedly been observed on one or two occasions playing a tune on a harmonica in a Cook apartment.

The ghost of a young female with a cord around her neck can repeatedly be observed in a Cook highschool before dawn staggering the hallways.
