One when I was seven I heard cowboy boots at a friends house when I slept over for a party and when we went to sleep at 11:00 we heard people like singing and when I was sleep heard some girls crying. They about four yours old.I even said ''who are you?'' The little girl said her name was Cindy.

On a cold night in Grand Island Senior High I bearely started working there as a band director. Since I didn't have a place to live I stayed in the high school for about three weeks. Well one day around 3a.m I woke up hearing a clinging noise in the auditorium. I was sleeping

in my office in the band room and the auditorium wasn't far away so I decided to go see what the noise was. When I got there the clinging noise was on the stage and then it went away. So I thought that

it was just the vents. But all of the sudden I started to here it up in the balcany. And once again it stopped. When I started walking back to my office I started hearing foot steps up in the balcany. They were slow but loud steps. The lights were all off in the auditorium so I couldn't see if any one was up there so I said ''Who's up there''. When I said that the foot steps stopped and there was a silence that the only thing that I could hear was my heart beat. After about 30 sec. the foot steps started again so I ran to turn on the lights but when I looked up to the balcony there was no one there.

When it was time for band camp I was telling the drum line about what happened to me and they said that I saw (or heard) the ghost of a little girl that died there in the high school. They told me that
a girl was running around up in the balcony and fell off and instantly died. They also said that her ghost is often seen in the auditorium of Grnad Island Senior High.

Abbott Park in the early morning hours. Several of the folks who live here argue this ghost loves frightening foolish people who come seeking ghosts in Grand Island. In any event, this is an unfriendly
ghost that you don't want to bump into very late at night.
The ghost of a woman with a dagger in her chest can be perceived frequently marching through a trailer in the vicinity of Grand Island.
If you listen to the locals, this ghost may perhaps be a well-known old days native of Grand Island.
A lady with the head of a leprechaun has now and then been witnessed strolling through a Grand
Island area graveyard. According to what the locals say, this spirit is the stressed soul of an old Grand Island local.
The phantom of a guy with half his head lost has been said to have been made
out on many instances slurping blood from a bottle down by the waterfront at Eagles Lake.
A headless lady can sometimes be made out at night floating along on Middle Channel Platte River. Residents
here who have observed this ghost claim this ghost is that of a person who resided here in Grand Island long ago.
