I could not believe what I was hearing...wait let me rewind the story a little bit.! Well I was out with a group of friends on a Saturday night and we were walking by the grand Island cemetery. It was about 11:30 and we were all supposed to be home already. So we figured we were already half and hour late what's any long going to hurt. well it hurt a lot, because after we all decided not to go home something happened... My friend Amy wanted to go through the cemetery instead of around. Now back then I was petrified of ghost's, so I was a lotta scared to go through the cemetery... I decided to go through anyway. Well we were all on our way through and I saw a shadow out of the corner of my eye and so I flipped myself around to see what it was. I felt like a complete idiot because it was only this guy that I knew, Joey. So we kept on walking and I felt tension building up like something bad was going to happen. We were walking by one of those houses where the caskets are in and I heard something... it sounded like a tip tap tip tap. Like

footsteps. I told my friends ''okay guys stop'' they said they weren't doing any thing. the three of us gathered closer together. We kept walking and it sounded like the footsteps were coming closer and closer, nobody was behind us. We all ran out as fast as we could but the scary thing was that the moment we left the cemetery the noise stopped. Still

to this day do I wonder what it was and it was a moment I will never forget.

I was in Gran Island Central Catholic at night and heard kids running and laughing and banging on the lockers and I went out to see what it was and as soon as I stepped in the hall all the noise stopped and nobody was there. The school was built in 1956, so it is pretty old.

One when I was seven I heard cowboy boots at a friends house when I slept over for a party and when we went to sleep at 11:00 we heard people like singing and when I was sleep heard some girls crying. They about four yours old.I even said ''who are you?'' The little girl said her name was Cindy.

On a cold night in Grand Island Senior High I bearely started working there as a band director. Since I didn't have a place to live I stayed in the high school for about

three weeks. Well one day around 3a.m I woke up hearing a clinging noise in the auditorium. I was sleeping in my office in the band room and the auditorium wasn't far away so I decided to go see what the noise was. When I got there the clinging noise was on the stage and then it went away. So I thought that it was just the vents. But all of the sudden I started to here it up in the balcany. And once again it stopped. When I started walking back to my office I started hearing foot steps up in the balcany. They were slow but loud steps. The lights were all off in the auditorium so I couldn't see if any one was up there so I said ''Who's up there''. When I said that the foot steps stopped and there was a silence that the only thing that I could hear was my heart beat. After about 30 sec. the foot steps started again so I ran to turn on the lights but when I looked up to the balcony there was no one there. When it was time for band camp I was telling the drum line about what happened to me and they said that I saw (or heard) the ghost of a little girl that died there in the high school. They told me that a girl was running around up in the balcony and fell off and instantly died. They also said that her ghost is often seen in the auditorium of Grnad Island Senior High.
