These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The spirit of a gentleman carrying a bloody axe can be witnessed often in a mirror in a Grant home; the ghost was exclusively to be seen in the mirror. The spirit of a civil war soldier has occasionally been noticed in a mobile home in the vicinity of Grant. If you listen to what the locals declare, this ghost is that of a person who dwelled here in Grant a long time ago. The ghost of a terribly burned woman is once in a while spotted dragging       a corpse over rocks in Wild Horse Spring Historical Marker before dawn. No matter what, it's a menacing ghost that you shouldn't go trying to locate. The spirit of an engine driver has supposedly been seen on numerous occasions down near Wild Horse Spring in the early morning hours trying to locate a hat. A lot of local residents declare this   spirit gets pleasure from startling unwise folks who dare to disturb the silence in Grant. The ghost of an appallingly mangled huntsman hauling a dead mountain lion can now and then be made out searching for a shoe beneath a parked Pontiac in a Grant parking lot late at night.
