Hastings College me and my friends were hanging out there one night. Then the lights kept turning on and off and we kept seeing a dark shadow run by. We kept hearing these laughing noises, and we were in the gym and all alone.

I lived in a haunted apartment in Hastings in 1983 for 6 months. Too many things happened to mention them all but aside from the footsteps lights turning off, and on themselves and my friends' hand getting burned on the stove when it wasn't on the most significant was the night it woke me up again I would always awaken feeling breathless like the down side of a roller coaster.
I laid there silently and barely breathing waiting for a sound or light as in the past after several minutes I started to smell something. I got out of bed and called my dad to explain the hot plastic smell after several minutes on the phone the fan in the kitchen window 3 feet from where I stood began to smoke and flames shot out of it.
At my dad's calm guidance I unplugged it and threw it in the yard. Had it not woke me before the fire the sheer curtains in the window and old wooden paneling would have gone up in seconds! There were many scary things that happened but that is the one good thing it saved the lives of my daughter and i; she was only 6 months old.
