Me and my son were fishing around 10 o'clock, at the twin lakes west of Lincoln, we heard a girl calling for her mom about four times. The twin lakes has a single light on the boat ramp, we were on the dam on the south end ,we had a flash light but did not see anything. We were the last people there. Upon leaving we checked both parking areas no cars.

We once rented a house around 28th and Fair in Lincoln. We always heard weird things in this old house, but one night I was awakened in the night by a dark shadow in the doorway to our bedroom upstairs...It said HEEEEEEEEYYYYYY!!! really low and loud. I screamed and started to cry, my husband woke up and wondered what in the heck happened. A while later we bought a house on s.w 21st, that place always had a feeling there. One evening I was doing laundy in the basement. I walked into the laundry room and the dryer door opened up and slammed shut right in front of me. Our dogs would always stand and look at

something we could never see and bark. One night my husband and I were downstairs watching tv. I kept seeing this figure run from one side at the end of the room into the laundry room or towards the stairs(that were right beside the laundry room door). My husband asked what I was looking at, so I told him about what I was seeing...he said, ''Oh, I

see that all the time''. YIKES!! Oh, another time, my friend was visiting from out of town with her young son. I guess on the way home her son asked who the man was down stairs at our house...My husband was not home when they were over. We sold that house to move to the country, but we miss it. It never had a bad feeling there, so what ever was there wasn't bad.

(9/18/2009) I bought a house about 5 years ago. The house was built by it's only tennants in 1963. When I moved in I noticed strange things right away. Footsteps up and down the hallway, things disappearing for a while then reappearing, and I saw an older woman move from the bathroom to the bedroom or vice versa. (I didn't tell anyone about most of it and especially not about seeing the woman.) I dubbed the woman Sophie. Well a while later my neice (18yrs old) was there and I was downstairs, she came running downstairs and told me she saw a woman at the

end of the hall going into the bathroom. She described the same woman I have seen. We aren't afraid of Sophie and she seems to be very nice and sometimes plays tricks on us, like hiding kitchen utensils or turning on lamps - even when they are unplugged. If ever I can't find something I know I have I'll holler out ''Sophie can I please have my _____ back?'' and usually it will be in plain sight shortly after.
