I myself went down into the basement just to make sure; no one would have been able to go back up the stairs without going past me. I didn't find anyone in the basement, but did hear someone stepping quickly through the main floor and leaving by way of the front door. I ran up from the basement as quickly to follow, but there was nothing,     no sign of some errant spirit. The strange think about this was that I was never frightened by the thought of ghosts... . I've never seen it before it ran in front of my grandma's car and we thought for a second or two that we were going to hit it , butwe didn't. It went through the car and walked away like nothing happened before.
