When my mom, my grandma and I were driving from Lincoln and we took a wrong turn to Ulysses ,and when we were going through the town every house and store was empty and the houses' lights were all on with the doors and windows wide open. then we saw a dog tied to a post but when we looked at it again it was gone. it scared all of us , mostly me , because i was just 6. .

The ghost of a young-looking woman with a cable around her neck was distinguished flinging rocks into Herpolsheimer Reservoir on a dark night. The spirit didn't care that there was someone other near. In any case, it's a menacing ghost that you do not want to encounter in the early morning hours before sunrise.
