I was staying alone in terrace hall over Christmas vacation and would often hear loud sighs and moans up on the third floor. I'd search the building and would find nothing that could have made the sounds.
I lived in neihardt hall for two semesters and worked at the front desk during the night shift. When I frist moved in I lived in room 34 then about 3 weeks later I moved to room 9 in the basement. Anyway the day I moved out of room 34 I worked the

night shift at the front desk and I got a call from room 34 on the switchboard.
I know that room was empty because I had just moved out a few minutes
|
ago and I made sure the room was locked. I could see the room was empty by looking out the front door and into the room's windows on the west wing.
It could have been a short circuit but it is just too much of a coincidence. Also there are always sounds of moving furniture during the breaks when everyone goes home. I looked for what had made the noises and would always find nobody.
