Not everyone has faith in the accounts the local residents tell, but the undeparted souls of Camden are all too real. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The ghost of a man outfitted as a gas station attendant is often noticed       dining on a steak in Carnes Park before sunrise. A female with a semi see-through body has been said to have been witnessed on one or two occasions pulling a corpse from the chilly water of Chaffie Creek at night. The ghost of a guy sporting a police uniform may often be made out chatting into the thin air by Estridge Bayou. A local woman   asserts that this ghost is probably the undeparted ghost of a local person who used to have a house here in Camden. The ghost of a security guard with a bullet hole in his forehead can be seen repeatedly taking in the surroundings at Berg Lake Dam late in the night. A number of of the people who live here argue this ghost is the undeparted soul of a long gone Camden local. The ghost of a gentleman sporting a soldier's uniform is every now and then made out down by the water's edge at Berg Lake hauling a human skull.
