Some folks who live here argue there are no ghosts, but anybody who has stayed for a few days in Carlisle, Arkansas knows better. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The phantom of a down-and-out gentleman may sometimes be made out chucking stones into the current at Battles Branch before sunrise. A man who lives here declares that this ghost may very well be a recognized yesteryear dweller of Carlisle. No matter what folks exclaim, this       is an unfriendly ghost that should be kept away from. The ghost of a youthful cowboy was spotted staring at the water by Lake Treadway Dam very late at night. When the bystander came into sight the ghost escaped. One thing is for sure, it in all certainty is a menacing ghost that is rather not disrupted. The ghost of a zinc-miner emerged   hovering across Grand Prairie in the early morning hours. The appearance of the observer startled the spirit who then disappeared. The phantom of a man clothed as a store clerk was witnessed being carried by a bike on a shady highway near Carlisle. The ghost mentioned revenging a homicide. Either way, this phantom sure is frightening; one that you wouldn't wish to bump into before sunrise. The spirit of a guy wearing a sheriff uniform materialized in a trailer in Carlisle. The witness got freaked out and ran away. Several of the locals claim this phantom is the stressed spirit of a long departed Carlisle local resident. In any case, it's a terrifying phantom that any normal person wouldn't want to run into.
