A fairly transparent gentleman outfitted as the skipper of a boat was noticed piling rocks down beside the water's edge at Bogs Lake. When spotted the ghost came near the observer       who then escaped. The ghost of a young-looking man dressed in a confederate uniform has often been witnessed on the pinnacle of Dardanelle Mountain around midnight gazing at the panorama. One of the residents decisively declares that this spirit is that of a local person who settled here in Centerville a long time ago.
