There have been loads of meetings with persons from the other side. A number of folks who live here say these tales are lies, but with so many spirits in Cotter you have a reasonably good chance of spotting one if you stay for the night in this town. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The ghost of a youthful guy dressed in a confederate uniform may sometimes be observed very late at night floating down on Bruce Creek. If you listen to what the residents allege, this ghost is almost certainly the undead ghost of a person who used to have a home here in Cotter. Regardless of what people       express, it's a menacing ghost that is rather not disrupted. The phantom of a street bum was distinguished staring across Trimble Flat at midnight. Shocked by the bystanders the ghost departed into the darkness. Lots of folks who live here claim this ghost is the undead spirit of a long forgotten Cotter person who lived here. The ghost   of an aged hag came into sight looking at the water by Bull Shoals Dam at night. When made out the spirit came up to the watcher who then escaped. Folks here who have observed this ghost argue this ghost is that of a person who had a home here in Cotter some time ago. A gentleman with a sizeable hole through his upper body appeared fly fishing from the water's edge of Bull Shoals Lake late at night. This exact ghost has been noticed very often in this neighborhood.
