One of the teachers at my school told us of a ghost train that rides through Emmet just ever so often in Emmet, usually around 5 or 6 in the morning. I was very interested in this and curious as to why I had never seen it, but then again, I wasn't in town or awake at them hours...Later on as I got older I stayed at a friends house who lived by the tracks. We were out wondering around one night, not sure as to what time, but

we heard the whistle blow, saw the train light and the crossing rails went down, but train. All you could hear was the sound of the train as

it went by, and all you could see was the red light on the back of the last car after the rails went back up. I will never forget it, and I will NEVER doubt my teacher ever again...
